I am posting this on behalf of my neighbor.
He picked up his 2005 Inspire last fall, and is very unhappy with the way it handles. He is a retired truck driver, so I think he knows of what he speaks. He had an Allegro and says there is no comparison and wishes at this point he had his old coach back.
The CC rep has ridden with him, and has suggested several things.
Apparantly a CC engineering guy has been involved also at some point.
He just took it to have the whole thing aligned in Orlando, and just got back from Lazy Days where they tightened up the steering box. He is the source for my post earlier about why CC is switching to Goodyear ... he was told CC has had tons of problems with Toyo and handling issues. I think there are some new Toyo tires on there also.
I don't know what is fact and what is fiction here, I am just passing this story along and wondering if any Inspire owners can shed some light.
It is a 36' Inspire if that matters.
I will simply tell him what I learn here.
Thanks ...

John, what series TOYO's does he have, and what pressure? I have TOYO's on my 36' Intrigue and the tire pressure makes all the difference in the world on how mine drives, . I am very happy with the Orlando alignment people's work as well, and i'm also VERY happy with my TOYO's... mine drives like a dream, with the tire pressure that Josam and I established as being proper distribution. Did Josam install the pressure bias air suspension valves in all 4 corners?? Jim Haas

If you don't know if its fact or fiction, its just a rumor.

Not sure about the series of Toyo's ... I will find out.
We are checking tire pressure tommorow. I have a 1% gauge setup and will elim this as a possibility. I agree how important this is and i told him that.
I have always heard Josam is the hot setup ... LD sent my Affinity there also.
I feel sorry for the guy, but like I said, I don't know if this is a problem or he is just whining. I want to try and help any way I can, as he is a nice ol' guy.
Thanks for the info.

Tire pressure could be key...our 2001 Intrigue handled terribly when we got it, but thanks to some folks here who told us to get a 4-point weight and redo our tire pressure according to the Toyo Handbook, it has been perfect ever since. No problems whatsover with our Toyos...70,000+ miles (4+ years)...will replace them this coming year.
I LOVE driving it!
