Gary,

In your front left compartment, ahead of the driver, is where the air switch is you are looking for. There are three switches in a row, and I think the switch you need has Ckt. #20 going to it. Anyway, those switches are for "Low Air" pressure light, "Parking Brake On", etc. The older switches use case as ground with one wire, the new style has two tabs, one you have to run to chassis ground. All three have an air line on the back side. You can temporarily take a jumper wire from ground to the switch that has Ckt. #20, and I am sure your slide will operate. Of course, you need to replace at least that one switch. There is a star washer around each switch, you may just need to back off the switch, clean the area and retighten for a sold ground. A pretty simple fix, and not time consuming.
