Title: Help 03 Allure won't go to travel mode

We are new Country Coach owner and know very little about motorhomes.
We bought a used 2003 Allure last November. It has been working great but this week it will not return to travel mode after we had it leveled. Gene checked some fuses and found 2 were blown. One was a 20 amp for a circulating pump which he replaced and it blew again. The second fuse was a 7.5 amp for the engine fan contoller. These may have nothing to do with our problem. I thought of the ride height valves but the odds of all 4 going bad at the same time seemed pretty high.
The coach is parked in our driveway at the moment. Any suggestions on what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Marianne;

It would seem that 4 bad valves at the same time is odd but I have a 02 Allure with 3 valves (2 rear and 1 front). Before the tech got the left rear defective one adjusted the right rear one went bad.
The front one is OK and still working. Haldex had a bad run of valves and at least the 02 coaches got them.

Have you checked the fuse in the control box for the travel leveling system. On the Magna there is a box that controls the leveling system. That box has a fuse that disables the entire travel system and lets you operate from the coach leveling system. I'm sure you have the same box on your coach.

Bill,

Yes we checked the fuses in the HWH control box under the dash on the passenger side and they are all OK. We also checked fuses in the bay under the drivers seat. Gene has tried to dumped all the air and found the air will not dump on the front drivers side. He has a call into HWH to get their advise.
Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the advise on this problem. Gene talked to HWH and they have determined the problem is a part in the main fuse box under the dash in from of the passenger seat. Of course you can not just replace the part, you must replace the entire box. It cost $562.00 but is still under warrentee and Gene can do the labor to switch out the box. They are also going to cover the shipping both ways.
This should be fixed by the first of next week. Which is great as we are planning on a trip down to Branson over the weekend before the 4th.

Thanks again. Great to have this forum.
