Caterpillar paid Thompson Machinery to install a new "high pressure pump" & program the ECU. The C9 is much better. Hesitation before power is gone. In 3 seconds or less, all the worms are awake & working. The Allison had some irregular & hard shifts before the Cat work. Now the Caterpillar & Allison feel good.
Thompson Machinery in Memphis TN did a good work & steam cleaned after work.
Thompson also charged $375 for less than one hour of additional work.
Valve adjustment was billed as "tune up", for a "flat rate charge" of $375. After 2 experiences with Cat Distributors, I can probably avoid Cat Distributors entirely.
