Does ANYONE have the name / address etc, of the company that makes the polished SST "angles" that are installed UNDER the slideout awnings to keep the wind from billowing them out during travel? I HAVE the pic files...but cant find a name and adress / phone number etc.

Mucho Thanks!

Hi, if you look on the Yhoo group site for CC and go to Database and then to Service Centers. The company is Standley Mfg in Juncton City. Good Luck, Dale Hollick 05 Affintiy #6370

I purchase the stainless fix kit but couldn't bring myself to attach them. Plan B how does this happen? What I found in my case a 1/8 inch play between the vertical arms and the safety pull down clips.
I shim ed out the vertical arm at the clip so there is no play. I haven't tried the real test (going through OK) but have been in some high knot winds. Just a though. When I get through OK I may have some stainless for sale.

Don,

Have you checked to make sure your awning(s) have the proper spring preload. Mine were way under wound. Since adjusting them to the proper spring preload, I have had no problems and I travel I-40 through OK, TX & NM regularly. Zip-Dee can provide the proper preload specs.

Hope this helps.............
