Molly had wanted the awinig higher so the cat, in his cage, could see more so I raised it up almost level, and forget to put it down lower when we returned from the Casino making enough in the Poker room to pay for a new roller bar. In any event the third squall that came through woke us up to the awning streatched almost to the ground holding an estimated 200 gallon of water and the roller bar kinked so badly there was no way we could roll it up.
We now know how to receive a replacement and effect the replacement. Zip-Dee was most helpful in telling us how to do it, and sending us copies of instructions with the replacemnt 23 foot long steel tube. Unfortunately the only way to get it to us was to truck it but Dominion Lines delivered it to us at our Park site in Biloxi MS from Chicage in five days.
For your information, total cost of replacement was only $250, which included purchase of a pop-rivet gun which I had wanted anyway. Took Molly and I , and two interested neighbors standing watching and offering encouragement, three hours total to replace it. The dreaded spring tension problem is really no problem at all once you do it. Hope you don't have to go through this learning experience. regards and good traveling
