What do you use to affix corian to corian? Soap dish fell off in shower. Special cement or? Also, after defrosting refrig, no water coming into ice cube tray when lever down (on). Worked fine before...what did we do? Thanks. Joe Cronin 6223 currently in Virginia

Joe

My experience with corain in my home, is that that a special epoxy is needed only affable to corian contractors. But corian has a 10 year warranty and the cracks in my home were repaired under warranty.

The epoxy is also mixed with a coloring agent specific to the brand and color of the corian. The "kit" i.e., coloring agent and 2 part epoxy must be obtained from the manufacturer (or dealer) of the corian. No doubt CC will have the kits for their own use in fabricating the shower.

Joe;

do you have a switch at the bottom of the refrig for the water solonoid? I've got a domestic with such a switch. Have accidentally turned if off with my foot.

Joe, clean both surfaces well and put some dabs of silicone sealer on the soap holder and tape it back up. Should hold as long as you don't try to use it as a hand hold.
