Title: CAT Service near Junction City

We need to get a LOF and lube for the coach. CAT support line also suggests having CAT look at our Jake brake questions before taking the coach to JC for our warranty visit. Does anyone have any experience with the CAT service centers near Eugene? We're in Seattle right now and CAT suggested NC Power Systems in Tukwila, WA but that is a real hassle to get to and since we need to go to JC anyway we thought somebody near Eugene/JC would be easier to access. I noticed Pape Machinery on the CAT website.

We used Peterson Cat (541-302-9199) not far from JC. Peterson is just off US 5, easy on, easy off.

Bob, I had CAT south of Eugene off the I5 do some work for me. Do Not go to the service center off West 11th called Pape Machinery. on Danebo. I made an appointment there and they couldn't do the work. They sold out (or were forced to sell) their Cat repair to another company.I just looked in the Yellow Pages online and I think it might be Peterson Machine Repair 541-302-9199. Maybe you can call them and ask if they are Cat Sevice. I f all else fails maybe try calling CC and ask for the service center South of Eugene off I5. Sorry I can't be more specific. I think you are describing Peterson Machinery, the same place Jim recommnended. I'll give them a call. Their website says they are just south of Eugene on Henderson Ave.
