After the Country Coach Class Reunion in Eugene OR (Arrive 9/14, Depart 9/19, call 800-537-0622 to sign up, space still available, still three days to save $50), we plan to head over to the Oregon coast and head south back to California.
What are your favorite RV parks between Florence and Brookings? I am particularly interested in the Gold Beach and Brookings area. Thanks.
Hope to see you at the Reunion.

Herb, we are at Seal Rock, probably one of the most beautiful spots on the Oregon Coach, best way is to go North on Interstate 5 from Eugene to Corvalis turn off and head to Newport and then South about 12 miles to Seal Rock. The Coast going South through Yachats down to Florence is spectacular including the Seal Lion Caves. We have our home under construction in Yachats, so are too busy to make the Reunion. It will be one of the most unique homes on the coast. The coach goes on the bottom with two levels above. It is a monolithic dome with large block corners so it does not appear to be round. This is the type that the news media stayed in Florida during the fall hurricane season. Good for 300 miles per hour, windows probably would fail at 180. Energy costs are about 1/3 of normal. We are about the mid point up ELK mountain with a good ocean view. Going south from Florence we like the park over looking the Rouge River north of Gold Beach. Narrow road on the north side of the river, about 3 miles up.
The mail boat picks up passengers for a trip many miles up the river with lunch in route. Thanks for your past help on the pac brake, it has been turned over. Best wishes.
