Title: More step tricks ...
Post by: John on August 08, 2005, 01:22:24 pm
Yahoo Message Number: 17821 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/17821)This has been covered here, but maybe not this variaion. We just left Davenport, IA after a short stay, and noticed the 'step out' light on. We pulled off I88 at an exit, flipped the step switch by the door several time, and turned off the engine.
Upon restart, the step pulled in. About 10 minutes later the step light came on again, and my wife verified the step was out again. A shor time later, in went in by itself.
I posted here that this happened at Lazy Days, awhile back, as we were leaving, and we also noticed once that steps did no come out when we opened the door. I thought this was a function of the door switch setting, but now I wonder if I have a defective switch somewhere.
I an guessing the door switch.
Anybody else been thru this? I will check the Kwickie (sp??) site also as was suggested here once.
Thanks ...

Yahoo Message Number: 17826 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/17826)We had this problem on our Allure a couple of years ago. I picked some aerosol contact cleaner and sprayed the door frame pressure switch daily for a few days. Took care of the problem and it hasn't returned.
