We have a Honda CRV that we want to sell. Can't see any reason to pull the BlueOx baseplate, if another RV'er can use it. Any body have a good website or recommendation of how to sell it to someone that needs a good toad.

Thanks,

Russ and Jean

Hi, I'm new to CC, but not motorhoming. My wife and I have been living full-time in a motorhome for 9 years, following 2 years of wintering on a boat in the Bahamas and summers in a motorhome traveling the US. I'm retired IBM, and now leading RV caravans. The only question for the group, is if anyone has suggestions to prevent (known) future problems with this RV? Dan and Sue, 2000 Intrique, CC# 11173

Hello and Welcome, One way you can keep up is get good maint checks and crawl under your coach periodically and look for leaks wear etc.
I just had my coach in for service and they found a leak in the radiator. CC will put a new one on, it is under warranty. This is a pretty good site to keep up with to and ask for help. Check into the links. Got to a few of the pre rally events too.

My wife and I lived on a boat for 5 yr before converting to RV and loved both approaches. We never go to the Bahamas but did a lot on the intracostal and rivers.

Again, Welcome and good luck traveling.

Hi,

My DH and I are the new owners of a 2006 Country Coach Inspire. So far we are quite happy with it, and I'm sure this will continue. We are members of FMCA and Good Sam Life Time members. Hope to attend a CC Rally one day.

Hello Clyde & Marlene

Welcome to the group! You can get some very usefull information here. We have owned our coach for about a year now and have really enjoyed our coach and the feedback from this forum. Don't hesitate to ask questions here because there are plenty of experts here than will be happy help you. One protocal most members practice here is stating their coach number in their signature block. Happy trails!

Just a note of introduction.

Carm (my wife) and I just realized our RV dream by buying a 2002 Country Coach Allure.
We have been RVing for 23 years always aware of these beautiful coaches but never quite getting there. Some might say a couple in their mid seventy's must be crazy doing this when we did. If the way we feel is crazy, I love it. I say....if not now when? We look forward to gaining insight from your collective experiences and perhaps in some way you may benefit from our 23 years in this wonderful lifestyle.
Maybe we will see some of you this winter....our routine for years has been to leave our home in N.C. to go to Tucson.
-- Look for the Allure with two old folks smiling like Cheshire cats.

Merle and Cam, Welcome to the group! You are in great company and I am sure you will enjoy the interaction here, lots of good information and friendly folks to answer you questions. We've been Country Coach owners for almost 12 years now and still enjoying it. Just returned from the big RV show in Hershey, Pa where we saw lots of new rigs but still nothing that would result in trading in our well broken in 2000 Intrigue.
We also travel from east coast to Tucson periodically but the last few winters have been spent closer to home, we travel from Maryland to Florida but are seriously considering changing that this year to the Valley area of Texas. We are just north of you, we spend summers and fall in Maryland.
And, remember age is just a state of mind! At least that is what I keep telling myself.

Welcome! We've owned our CC '04 Allure 33' since 2005. We feel very lucky to have found a one year old "used" CC. Six years later we now full time. This forum is very helpful to all CC owners. Many thanks to all those who offer assistance here. We hope to continue in our CC well into our 70's.

Hi Merle,

Congratulations and welcome to the family! As Roger mentioned, this is an unusually great forum with lots of insights from other owners who are so willing to help.
Here are a couple of suggestions on how to enjoy this forum even more, taught to me by some veterans:
1. You'll be amazed as you go back through the archives. There's such great information there. When you have a question, do a quick search of the archive postings first. You'll probably find the answer and even if you don't it's just fun to browse the treasure trove of ideas from other owners. You can always post your question on the forum in either case.
2. As you post to the group sign off with your name, year and model of coach and serial number. That helps alert people with similar coaches to spot your question and share their answers, in addition to those from other CC owners.
I hope you get as much enjoyment out of your Country Coach as Faye and I have out of ours!

.Welcome to this great group of CC owners. I am in my 77th year and have been homeless and unemployed - other wise known as full timing for 13 years. In my other life I raced sports cars for 33 years.. Wife put a sign up in the shop that read--- If you did not know when you were born, how old would you say you were. Enjoy your CC.

Merle & Carm,

Congratulations!! I hope you enjoy your CC as much as we love ours. We have been full-timing going on 4 years and I love the lifestyle. Every time I think I may want a newer coach, I just don't find the quality we have in our '99 Magna.
As you proceed to Tucson and, if you come across on I-10, I recommend a diversion to Silver City, NM. We live here (I have a full-time job here, which was to be a temp, but...) and I think you would love to see this little community in the Gilas.
Good luck and have fun!!!!
