I am not real impressed with Velvac mirrors on our Affinity. The pass side does not work at all, and the driver side is kinda funky but it moves.

There is power to the pass side, it just acts like its bound up. I moved it manaully back an forth and its better, but just seems pretty gimpy.

Has anyone taken one of these apart??? There are clips that hold the glass (flat, upper) but I have not messed with it.

After breaking the hell out of our trim in the bedroom doing the slide hose recall (the directions are wrong concerning the clips), I am little gun shy about pulling on things.

BTW, the trim is fine now ... broke the attaching pieces, not the trim itself.

No technical info on the Velvac web site, but it does say they cost $1100 apiece !!!! Yikes!!

Thanks for any help ...

J & T, I found Velvac to be pretty much up front with service. I had one begin peeling chrome after two years and they sent me a new one, free of charge. I suggest you contacxt them, direct, with your problem.
