Hi All,

Just wanted to thank the members of the group who offered help and advice with my Air Dryer question and also let everyone know the outcome.

Because we are at the Western Class Reunion I made an appointment with Peterson Cat in Eugene a couple of weeks ago. They needed the Vin number of the 3176 engine to be sure they ordered the correct parts. The cost of the Air Dryer desicant filter and valve assembly was $80, but the labor to remove, brake down, service and reassemble and install the dryer was 6 hours at $82 per hour. They said it is a real problem for the mechanic because of the air dryer location on my coach.

Total for the air dryer service together with a engine valve and Jake brake adjustment came to $998.37

The guys at Peterson Cat seem to know their business and the inside of my coach was kept spotless.

I hope now that I see a difference on my next trip, apart from the weight of my wallet!!
