Hi folks!

We are very interested in obtaining a new 42' quad slide Allure 470 with a 400hp Cummins ISL engine. Can you give me an idea what I can expect for MPG?
TIA,
Bob

Bob

Based on 45K miles of driving a 350 Cummins in a 40' Intrigue, 8 mpg is generally a good number. Sometimes less and sometimes more, but overall 8 mpg is what I would expect from that coach. You may get 10 on flat land with a strong tail wind. If people tell you they get 10-12 mpg on average, I would be very suspicious.

I have a 2004 Intrigue 42' Ovation with an ISL 400. Our travel weight is about 39,000 w/o toad. If we stay under 65 on flat land and you shut off the hydro-hot 8.2 to 8.5 seems to be normal, uder 60 flat and level, you may get
9. If you see a hill or head wind or do any stop and go driving 7.3 to 7.5.
All bets are off if you drive over 68. 6.8 to 6.5. If you have a silver leaf and I don't, watch your torgue reading and when it starts to climb, there goes your fuel milage.
TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731 PS Had a 98 Allure.
Stay under 55 11mpg, but over 65, it fuel milage was worse than the Intrigue. I contribute that to those small tires.

HI Roney

Are you telling us that you are finally geting a CC? Good for you!!! I tow a 2004 Tahoe and get 7 1/2 MPD average. I love my Allure with a tag and you will, too!

Let me know what you decide.
