We have a 04 Allure. We would like to add a Sani-Con to our coach. Has anybody added it to theirs and if so what is your opinion. We have contacted Lazy Days and they gave us a price of $1200 installed. We had a good laugh over that price. Lazys Days are the most over priced dealer in the country as far a sevice goes, and weeks to spend there waiting. We have a price of $399.99 for the unir and $100.00 to install.

Hi Jerry,

The maserator is not new but just redesigned with less capability.
Back beginning in 1972, the GMC motorhome had that option. With a 'loop tube' rotor pump, after the engine exahust was up to temperature, the 12 vdc pump slowly provided black tank effluent to the exhaust pipe just below the exhaust manifold, burning the effluent up - never had to empty the black tank, just washed it out ocassionally. Now my system is a simple - a 120vac centrifical blade pump which feeds a one inch vinyl hose of sufficient lenght to reach the sewer cleanout at home. Cost - about $80 from Northern Tool for the pump and about $20 from Ace hardware for the hose and clamps. Just plug the pump into the socket in the next bay.

Did you have to make adjustments to the fibreglass when installing the sani-con and do you have pictures of the installation? Jacques
