Hello gang,

My Allure has the Massage/Heated seats. We were awakened one night by the co-pilots chair massage feature coming on by itself. I had to get up in the middle of the night and disconnect the power supply wire under the seat to make it stop. It has intermittently come on several other times. I called the manufacture of the insert that gives the seats the massage feature, but they didn't return my call. Also, the Buddy Gregg dealership in Lewisville, Texas said they fixed it when it was in for service, but of course they didn't. It's not a problem if you are in the coach when it happens, you just turn it off, but naturally we're not in it all the time. Anyone had this problem, know a fix? The remote being pushed accidently by something is not the cause. Thanks for any help.

Perhaps someone near you has the same device or something similar, and their remote is affecting your device as well...

If it was me, I'd add an on/off switch in the power line.

Ours has done that several times, and I assumed we had bumped the button on the remote. I unplugged the remote when not needed and forgot about it. I would think the problem is in the remote. Try swapping with the other chair.

Too bad the mfg didn't respond, that sucks.

Do you like those seats? Years ago, my mom gave me a good quality massage/heated cushion for my car and I felt that it interfered with the "communication" between me and my car. However, my car is a stick shift and, except when racing, I shift by "feel" rather than using the tach. And the cushion interfered with the communication between my car and the seat of my pants. In retrospect, I guess it might be different in a big motorhome.
Is it?

Hello Dick and Geri,

The massage feature is great. Late in the day when your old bones and muscles are getting tired, angry, and starting to do strange things, I turn it on and it really goes to work. Kind of revives me towards the end of a long drive. The heat feature is probably something I won't have a need for since I'm in Texas. Both my vehicles have heated seats, but are seldom used. Having said all that, I wouldn't order them on a special order unit and I wouldn't order the heated floors either, but someone in a cold climate would probably have a different perspective.
