Looking for experience in obtaining and replacing side window glass.
We experienced some sand blasting on our last trip and the glass took a beating on the driver side. I have been taking to RV Glass Solutions in Eugene and they have been talking to CC to determine exact glass sizes and how to replace. Well, as usual CC drawings are not accurate and so far they have not yielded their supplier info. We are hoping that some forum members have been through the drill and can provide some esential data. Thanks for any help you may have.

I attempted to work through CC and SEGI (the window supplier) approx a year ago to replace a few of the thermal glass units (I have done so in my home with very satisfactory results) but neither CC or SEGI will cooperate in selling me the thermal glass panes without the entire window assembly. The cost of the entire assembly is prohibitive. If you have any luck please let the group know. Many of us suffer from "snaking seals" and need to replace the thermal glass. I know the reason for your post was "sandblasted glass" but regardless of the reason the need to secure the thermal pane glass is the same.

A lot of cars have a black "mask" or border all around the windshield or rear window. Has anyone (other than me) considered installing a 1" or wider, as necessary, black tape border all around the faulty windows to hide the problem?
Of course, if the window is fogging, my suggestion won't help.
