Everett i had the same problem.
If you want to remove the arm.

Pull arm down, push arm in to seat, pull arm up and over then remove.
Then remove cover.

GOOD LUCK.

All...

I found this message in the CC forum site. However, I am unable to get the arm off. If I lower the arm part way and push in it will rotate back past the normal stop point, but, it will not come off. If I lower it all the way down and push in, it will rotate only about 1/2 way up and still not come off.

Any help out there?

I followed the instruction and it worked like a charm. It may take a couple of tries to get the push right.
