We will be in the Phoenix, Casa Grande, and Palm Springs area and are looking for a place to get some RV service i.e. oil change etc. Any suggestions? I heard there was a place accross the street from Beaudry in Tuscon but don't know their name.

There is a SpeedCo location in Casa Grande that is very good. You can check their website at www.speedcousa.com

Desert West Coach on South 7th Street in Phoenix is one of the best we have found. They are the ones that have done the hot climate testing for CC. We have had them flush and change radiator fluid and check for proper radiator fan operation, ride height adjustment, added a flap below the radiator that keeps the hot air from re-circulating when stopped and adjusted the shocks. Good luck. John 2002 Allure

The place across the street from Beaudry in Tucson is Mesa RV. Don't have any experiance with them except for poor experiance from the sales department. There is also Pedata RV next door to Beaudry (probably just a sales lot) and Ed Hannon RV down the road to the East about a 1/2 mile. Ed Hannon has a pretty good sales force, but don't know if they do service or how good they are.
There is also a Beaudry in Mesa, near Phoenix, I think. Beaudry has a maintenance 'special' it might be worth checking out.
Last time I was at Jiffy Lube they had a sign claiming they would do a class A motorhome lube/oil. Might want to check them out, see if they can really handle a unit this big.

One thing you learn as you roam around the internet about motorhomes and service and that is to never, ever go to any Beaudry location for service.
Likewise for any service at any location of La Mesa RV. Many reports of very unhappy motorhome owners.

In Phoenix, there are the following two locations that have been recommended that I have noted over the past few years.....The following is the actual posting.

SpeedCo is a good place for engine and chassis lube. Check their web site for locations, I know there is one in Casa Grande.

My experience with Beaudry has been excellent. Most of the complaints I have heard are about the sales department. As the old saying goes, "Results Vary".

Ron,

The Tucson service place near Beaudry you heard about may be Jack's RV which is "across the fence", not "across the street". We've had very good experience with Jack's. I put the contact information for Jack's in this forum's database some time ago.

Great shop to get any thing done on your coach. My coach is in right now for cruse control replace, ride hight adj, batterys ( 4 D8 heavy dutys as my old batterys were many years old), washing machine motor, and many other things. Have to call ahead as he is very busy.
1800-889-4444 I have a 93 Affinity that we just got, so have to get it back in shape for the road this summer so we can burn some of that $3.00 fuel.

PS I also run a 10 tire Presure Pro tire monitor. Great unit and well priced. Do not have to use air gage every few day like I used to do and know my air presure all the time. Call me if I could be of service or e-mail

I stay away from RV sales service places, turnover high and the cost is high. In Tucson I10 International Trucks on Flowing Wells just south of Miracle Mile. They have 4 wheel alignment capability and their service has been good. They use Nappa parts which are lower cost than the ones you get from Dealers. If you can get your parts at Nappa, they are significantly lower cost and you get an additional discount if you are AAA.
