I'm sure I will be stiring the pot with this post, but so be it. I'm tired of walking in dog poop!

It seems to me that a larger number of pet owners these days feel it is alright to let their pet do it's thing in ANY unoccupied parking site. Most Parks we stay at have 'pet runs' but everytime I start to hookup the coach to elec. and water there is a 'pet deposit' or little round dead grass spots where some special pet owner has allowed their pet the use of that site.

I have been outside next to my coach and watched folks allow their pets the use of the site next to me, occupied or not.
I think this behavior is becoming the norm and not the isolated case it once was.

I like pets---- most kinds but, I don't travel with one and really would rather not have to clean up my site, or have the manager do it, because someone is not taking good care of their pet.

Again, I am not anti-pet but I'm sure as he** anti-petowner if that owner is so inconsiderate.

Rant Over----I just had to say something

WE AGREE.

IT IS BAD ENOUGH TO GREET A PET OWNER WITH A CUP OF COFFEE IN ONE HAND AND A SACK OF POOP IN THE OTHER BUT THAT IS BETTER THAN HAVING TO WITNESS THE ACT AND THEN IT NOT BE CLEANED UP (NOT JUST PICKED UP) BUT CLEANED.

I agree that some people are a problem. I REALLY hate to step in pet deposit!! But it's the old "a few bad apples". We travel with our dogs and always pick up after them. I always carry extra bags and if I see someone not cleaning up, I always offer them a bag and say "I see you forgot your bag" or something like that. The only way to make them do it is to say something. I'm afraid the few bad apples will hurt it for all of us who travel with our pets. By confronting the problem ones maybe the all the rest of us would be happier.
Responsibility is in the individual, be it your pets, kids, etc. Sometimes we may have to remind them.

We too, travel with our pets, as they are part of our family. The thought of leaving a "deposit" behind is just plan irresponsible.
Passing out bags to those who "forget them" is the only way we can police our peers. We are afraid the bad apples may spoil it for those of us who really care.
