Here's a curious SmarTire issue I'd sure appreciate some help with.
On an 05 Magna in which the SmarTire displays through the Silverleaf, we had a problem and were sent a new connecting interface module from Les Schwab and the SmarTire was re-programmed at Buddy Gregg (by someone, I'm certain has never programmed a SmarTire before). Since this we consistently have one wheel (driver's side front) that loses it signal off and on. When my receiving unit on the dash does get the signal from this wheel, the pressure and temp are fine. Then, after a couple of minutes I'll lose the signal from the wheel and the box is "X'ed" out as if there is a problem but there isn't. The battery display for this wheel sensor says the battery is fine so battery doesn't appear to be the problem.
Also - since the reprogramming we have an "extra wheel" for the toad. The icon for the passenger side rear show a duel tire set up instead of one wheel as it should be. And the guy who did the programming didn't know where the "extra wheel" came from nor, more importantly, how to get rid of it.
Any one have any help or suggestions?
Tom

Have you contacted the manufacturer for their assistance? That's what I'd do.

Tom,
Just de-program the extra wheel. You can handle that.
