Does anyone know an acceptable place to dry camp just one over-night in the Quartzsite area? Walmart? State Park?

Thanks.

First Exit from the east, exit freeway, turn left and go over freeway. Go to T in Road. Turn left and go 1 mile till you see sign that says Scaddam Wash. There is 10,000 acres to dry camp.

Tom: For overnight parking, I had to go outside of town about 5 miles to BLM property. Everything else is regulated because of the number of people there in the Winter.
I stopped overnight in January when most places are filled. You may find it easier this time of year.

Except for the RV show you can overnight just about anywhere but the center of town. You will want to look for STVAs ( short term visitor areas). One of the easiest is north of town about 5 miles on rt 95 but there are also areas east and west of town. South of town are the long term visitor areas that require a $permit.

We boondock there every year, there are miles and miles of boondocking spots. Free, but you can pay in the BLM area.
