Hi all,

We bought our 94 CC used about 6 years ago, and hit the road fulltime.
It was our first RV ever, so we didn't have a clue about what to expect from the coach. It has been quite a learning experience for us.
Anyway, the pump mystery. To like to fill the fresh water tank and operate from that so that the water is fresh. If I want to change to operating from city water, I turn the pump off and this worked for 5 years, even after a new pump 2 years ago. About 6 months ago something changed. The only way I can operate from the fresh water tank is to go outside and turn off the city water supply. It doesn't matter what I do with the pump switch. I had CC check the system at the Class Reunion and they said everything was OK. How is the system supposed to work? Has anyone else had this problem?

Your description of current events fits the operation of our coach as I think about it. If the city water pressure is higher than the freshwater pump pressure, the pump does not need to work and will not.
