Don we have bent over backwards in our talks to Blue Ox. You might think is was our fault until you have a Saturn and try to get the base plate for it. They stopped making the item...... that can't be any clearer. I challenge you to get the plate for me. After you call them come back on this site and tell everyone if it was the customer or the company that was at fault. I don't know how much you have dealt with Blue Ox in the past but if you think it was my fault maybe your influence will work and they will start making the plates again. Waiting to hear from you.

Hi, We tow with Blue Ox and when we bought our 2005 Odyssey, they didn't make a base plate for it either. So we just went to a local muffler shop and had them make one for us. He made the plate, attached the removable tow arms and we were (and are) good to go. It was quite a bit cheaper than a Blue Ox plate would have been as well. For us cost wasn't the factor, the factor was that we couldn't get a plate either.
Have you tried calling Remco? They also deal with Blue Ox products. 800-228-2481 or go online at www.remcotowing.com (http://www.remcotowing.com). Hope this helps, the Hollicks 05 Affinity #6370

I don't know where you are but there is a place I have used 4 times now to prepare a vehicle to tow. Don't need anything from blue ox either.
Try County RV Service in Santee Calif.( east of San Diego). They do a supurb job and you can't even see the attachment points when they are thru. (619) 440-6688 I know you will be happy with them.
