Hi, We are buying a new tow car and was wondering if anyone has used the Remco Pump, is it worth it or should we just purchase a car that dosent need it. This is the first time on the sight, we have a 2005 Inspire, and went to our first CC and FMCA ralley in North Dakota.
Thanks for your help. Joe and Bonnie Rossi

Welcome. IMHO, if you can purchase a vehicle that is fully towable without a pump, it will be much easier to handle and lest costly to equip.
For example, many folks tow 4wd Sport Utility vehicles that have transmission disconnect features. Jeep is very popular. Most GM's and Fords can be outfitted to disconnect with an electronic kit.
Almost all Hondas are towable, with some exceptions (questions) on the 2006 models. Toyota are not towable without modification.
Your best source to determine whether a specific vehicle is towable is the manufacturer of the pumps, Remco. They will tell you if the vehicle of your choice needs a pump or not.
Size and weight are considerations also. Good luck.
