I drove my coach for the first time at night and the low beams are not very good so I replaced them with Silverstar bulbs and now they are brighter but are turned down too much. I found what looks like an adjustment knob that I have to use channel locks to turn but I can't tell if it is doing anything to the beam. There are two knobs that I can see one is close to the high beam and is smaller the larger one is close to the low beam and clicks when you are turning it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Brad,

Assuming that your coach is similar to mine --- 2001 Affinity, in order to adjust your headlights, you must first remove the Chrome-coated frame surrounding the light assemble. There is a 6-8" rod the runs horizontally directly behind the large reflector. By twisting the rod you are rotating the light reflector either up or down. The other two top mounting screws can be used to turn the light left or right. It takes a few attempts to see the impact of twisting each screw or rod, so don't be concerned if it takes a while to get set correctly. It's best to do the adjusting at twilight time, that way you can see the rod and screws and also the beams.
