Has any one changed out the exhaust manifold themselves? 330 HP CUMMINS

Hi Ted,

No, I would not hesitate to change one myself, I have done cars.
Look at the parts list in the CCI book to see what is attached - the turbo and the head. The sequence for tightening is important. After torquing to spec a leak check is done with the engine running and someone to cover the exhaust pipe and listen for air escaping. You will need new bolts and nuts, I don't know if a gasket is used - the parts list will show it, however.
