Hi all,

I am the proud owner of a 1989 SE. I just read a CC archive informing me that I have a voice synthesizer apparently in the overhead monitoring panel. Anybody have any info or experience with it and how it might function?

Thanks,
Jay

Thanks Everett. I don't have a slide but I will keep looking. Lots of disconnected wires in this coach. LOL

Jay,

I don't know how your '89 differs from my '87, but you might look for a small blue box about 6"X4"X1" somewhere up front. Mine is under the dash. I can understand someone disconnecting it (if they didn't realize it has an on/off switch); it can get to be pretty annoying sometimes. On the other hand, it warned me of an engine overheat situation before I spotted it on the gauges.

Enjoy your "experienced" coach. I'm convinced they're much better than the new ones.
