Hi All,
We have an 05 Intrigue LE Quad and are toying with the idea of moving up to an 06 Magna 45 Quad.
Just wondered if the experiences of others justifies the move. As we are getting close to fulltiming (4 to 6 months), we wondered if the added room and amenities make a significant difference in comfort.
The main difference being King Bed and more storage.
Love some feedback,
Russ and Jean

If you have a somewhat trouble free Coach and have been satifisfyed with CC and the added couple square feet is what you want go for it.

Russ and Jean,
Since you aren't making a major change like gas to diesel or huge size differences he decision is more of "I want to" and harder to justify to yourself. If your current coach 2005 has been pretty trouble free, dependable and you like the floorplan etc. I would really think long and hard about changing my coach. If I was really happy with the coach I had I would wait and see what happens when we full time. You can always step up but you can't always get your old great coach back. Just my 2 cents. Good luck in your decision making process - not easy.
Good luck,
Kathy

If you look closely the Magna does not have the kitchen counter space or the full linen closet. The bays under- neath are not big either. The Magna has a lot of other items in its favor. But if you do want a new unit, order it the way you want it. That is main reason for moving up, all those changes to make the coach yours. Go by the factory and meet Carolyn Gzell, she's great and will assist with all those decisions. Take a factory tour. I drove a 45' Magna with the Cummins 600. What an experience. Do your homework.

It's only money!!!!
Make sure the storage space is really bigger. I can understand the king bed issue as that is why we bought the 42' Intrigue.

A lot of money for a King bed. But as you say.. "it's only money!" The storage space is a bit small on our 40 ft coach. The Tag eats it up big time compared to our SOB 36 ft w/o a tag.
We bought the 40 ft, so that we could park it at home. It just squeaks in behind the fence. But with fulltiming on the agenda, the fence all of a sudden is not an issue.

Hello Russ and Jean,
We have the 2005 45' Magna with four slides, and are very happy with it. We had the 2003 2 slide Magna, and this has so much more room and space. We have had the coach for 9 months, traveled across the U.S. and have no regrets. The extra floor space, cabinet space and, etc., makes life a lot easier. However, we have to be more careful getting into tight spaces. No regrets, way to go! Gail and George '05 CC Magna
