Bill: If you have Collision and Comprehensive on your existing policy and it covers Mexico as many do, you need only buy Liability Insurance for the Driver of the Motor Home/Car. I usually pay a about $125.00 for a Six Month policy, the shortest term they sell at the Border.
You may want to check your insurance and see whether Physical Damage coverage applies in Mexico. Driver only insurance covers the person if driving the Motor Home or the Car. My wife won't drive in Mexico anyway, so it works for us.
