Title: 2001 affinity engine bay lights

help! engine compartment lights stay on, tried switch plunger, even disconnected wires to push switch cell 978-764-1121 john, not mine but new coach owner i am helping.

Switches do go bad, but if you disconnected the wires from the switch, there is the only that one switch, and the lights still shine, you've got a short (or perhaps a previous owner's enhancement if the coach is used) somewhere. Quick patch is to take the bulbs out of the lights, or if nothing else important is on the same circuit, remove the fuse.
