The chrome plated ends of my lighted door handle have corroded badly.
I would like to replace them.
1) Can anyone tell me if wiring runs THROUGH either of them?
2) Is there any trick to getting them off and replacing them?

Joe, the handles have wires only in the top end. All you have to do is unscrew the handle and it will come off. The wires are long enough so you can work with the handle. Don't know if you can get just the ends, you might have to get a complete assembly. You can find the handle used by CC here www.itc-marine.com

Joe,

I had the same problem, CC sent me a new handle at no charge and I was out of warranty. The plating on the handles are very poor. Just remove the screws, unplug the wire and switch it out.
