Wife was combing hair in the bathroom and the toilet flushed by itself.
It did it a couple more times, so I disconnected the power wire off the fuse. I have heard of this problem and was wondering if anyone knows of a fix? I might just put an on/off switch to shut off power going to the toilet. Will Thetford honor the repair of this obvious design defect even though it is out of warranty? Thanks for any advise

Larry
Had this same problem a couple years ago. Seems there was a small leak that sprayed on the electrical switch causing a short that told it to flush again.

Larry, Same happened to me. Yes Thetford has a new Revised Electronic Board for this Toilet. I got them to ship me a New One. I was under warranty, but give um Heck.

Larry: Same thing happened to me, too! Toilet started flushing while we were driving down the road. The problem continued intermittantly until the control module was changed out. this aparently is a common problem with Thedford. since the toilet was less than two years old, I got them to do the repair under warranty.
