Being a member of this group was great this morning. I got up and it was cold in the coach. I checked the Hydro-Hot board and the low coolant light was lit. I checked the coolant level and it wasn't low. I then remembered what I had read on the board, checked the continuity of the float switch and it was bad. I bypassed the float switch and we have heat again. I also called CC Tech support after they opened and they confirmed my temporary fix. I wouldn't have known what to do if I didn't hang out on this board.

Now, how hard is it to replace the float switch??

Bob,

I just had the same problem with my Hydro Hot in my 05 intrigue. The part is not very difficult to replace however it should be under warranty with Hydro Hot for two years. If you take the cover off of the hydro hot you can see the sensor with two wires sticking out of it. You can remove the sensor with a large socket ( I can't remember the size) and replace it with the same.
Use a deep well socket so you can push the wires up inside of the socket when you are installing it. Make sure you put some teflon tape on the threads for a good seal.

I had mine done because it was under warranty and I was on vacation out in Mesa Az. I had it done at Rv Renovators in Mesa. They were great to work with and they were a Hydro Hot warranty provider so they billed Vehicle Systems directly. I had them do my annual maintenance (filter and nozzle change) while I was there also.
