Mike I have completed a change on a 3000MH on an SOB. I did not find any hidden issues. It is straight forward. Go to your Allison dealer and pick up your filters ( 2 ).
There are a couple "O" rings on the filters to deal with and you need to know if you have a deep pan or shallow for the correct filters. It is either a 2" or 4' pan from the seam down. SN would be a big help when buying the filters. The only other issue is the amount of fluid you will be draining. Be ready for that. Add new fluid and warm up to opps temp and check level. Ned

I give up!!!! I've seen it many times and still don't know what the inference is. So what does SOB mean?
Thank
Mike

Mike -
My interpretation of SOB is simply "Some Other Brand" - Forum members correct me if I am wrong.
