Thanks to everyone that gave me some great ideas for my Grand Canyon and Utah National parks trip -- that's what makes this forum such the wonderful asset it is!!
Has anyone camped in the National park campgrounds on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon? From the looks of it on Google Earth -- waking up with the Grand Canyon out your window could be pretty cool!!

Thanks
Dave

Dave

We were there in 2005 and I don't remember (CRS - can't remember stuff) if we could have walked to the rim from the campground, but we did drive to the hotel area (which was just a short walk to the rim) as well as to other overlooks.
Either way, you will need reservations as there are not many spots that will handle a large rig.
