Spent another night in OR with 0 to -4 degree temps. Raised thermostat in water pump bay to highest setting, left 75w bulb in a "drop light" burning in adjacent wet bay (where the grey/black drains are, etc.) (couldn't fit the bulb in the pump bay without it laying on something it shouldn't.), racked up heat inside rig to high 60's all night....at midnight, water was fine, but by 6 am the pump didn't work, BUT, with an application of a "rice bag" heated in the m'wave for 2 minutes and laid on top of the pump as well as a bit of extra heat put out by application of a hair dryer for a few minutes, all was AOK again. Next time I'll consider putting one of those "heat wraps" made for your back that "gives 8 hours relief" in the pump area...it might give off just enough heat to keep things toasty. Anyway, many thanks...we made it through another record low night. One more to go...
