Hi
Can anyone tell me where I can find instructions on re stringing the day/night shades in a 2002 Allure? Cords starting to break.
Any and all info/help appreciated.
Thanks

Jim,
I just posted a couple pics to the group files for both 2 string and 4 string shades. They are in a folder named Day Night Shades.
I don't know if all shades are strung the same way, but this is one example. The thing I had trouble with was trying to find the right string and knowing how much string to cut. The string used in metal blinds and other type blinds is not necessarily the type that should be used to do day night shades. The length you need is hard to judge - there is more needed than you think.
You might want to check to see who your shades were made by and contact them. That is what I did to get the string I needed. I would also make sure if you take them apart, that you make a drawing of how they are strung.
As I said, I am not sure they are all the same, but they might be.
