In January I wrote a blurb about a warranty policy from First Assured, brokered by Warranty Experts in San Antonio. First Assured's parent company declared bankruptcy, took First Assured down with it, and thus my $1000 repair bill was not going to be reimbursed. In addition, the money I paid for this policy was at risk as well. I only alerted you all to the fact that First Assured was out of business and that you needed to follow up if you had one of their policies.
I am now writing to tell you how Warranty Experts handled this. They found a new policy and bought it for us. If we are reimbursed from First Assured we will owe Warranty Experts the amount of the premium, which is reasonable. If we are not reimbursed Warranty Experts will eat the cost of the new policy premium. Dave Gardner, from Warranty Experts, gives seminars at rallies. However, I do not know what he could say that would make a greater impression than what he did. I highly recommend Warranty Experts if you are in the market for a warranty policy. Contact Dave or Jason Flowers at 877 673 1880 or 210 509 6647. I first heard about Warranty Experts on this net after inquiring about warranty policies.

Still sounds like you are out the $1000 repair bill. And if by some miracle you get reimbursed for that, you will be out the cost of a new policy to replace the one you already paid for. Better than nothing, but still not a glowing recommendation for extended warranties...
