Most automobiles have a dash light indicating the Cruise control is ON. My CC 2002 Allure does not have a dash light.

Is that normal, or do I have a burnt out indicator?

Yes Herb, I'm affraid it is normal that you do not have an indicator for the Cruise Control. I've been told the engine 'brains' do not have an output to turn on a light when Cruise is engaged. I think a Detroit Diesel has the output, but who can afford that? Wink

I think there might be another answer. I have the Silverleaf engine monitor which does display the cruise status.... an on/off indicator and the set speed. But, there again, a very expensive "on" light!
