Hi all. We stopped overnight at 29 Spotlight Casino, Indio, CA last night 3/31 enroute to Colton Truck Terminal. Our wonderful CC techs advised this was THE place to correct the infamous dust storm problem.
This morning discovered my mountain bicycle mounted on the rear of the pickup had been stolen sometime after 10:30 PM. Chain was cut and bungee cord tied to front tire to keep it steady had also been cut and was lying on the ground. No - not an April Fool's joke!!
We are usually confident in Casino security but let us down this time.
Just wanted to warn the group for future reference. Did notice several adult males using bikes at the rear entrance to the casino earlier in the evening.
Anybody know where we can find a nice "used" mountain bike? Don't want to contribute anything new.
