I attached a hose to what appears to be the correct location. Turned on the water and I could hear it flowing but none of the faucets were on and when i turned them on, nothing came out. The water seems to be going into the black water holding tank.
I then tried putting water in the fresh water holding tank and and turned on the pump. System pressurized and faucets worked just fine.
Anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong when hooked direct to city water?

I'm not that familiar with the system on the 94 Magna, but it sounds like you plugged the city water connection into your Black tank flushing system. It should have been labeled as such. There should be another hose connection for fresh water and possibly a third one for your Gray tank flushing system.

There must be one. I use VMSpc version of Silverleaf and I have a turbo boost-pressure readout gauge displayed. Where it is, I have no idea.

It is located in the pipe going from the turbine to the intake manifold between the intake pipe from the air cleaner (hard to see because of the intake pluming) located at about the center of the engine with wiring coming in from the back of the engine on the horizontal center line of the pipe. That specific sensor feeds the electronic control module. I don't know what you have in mind by asking the question but that sensor should not used for anything else. Unless it is monitored from ECM diagnostics port, as in a silver leaf or road relay 4 or equivalent system.

On my rig, the fresh water fill is on the lower left sidewall of the utility bay. A valve to open or close the city water flow to the coach is mounted there also.
To fill the onboard tank, the switch for "fresh water fill" on the dash overhead control panel must be on (the tank level indicator will be lighted.)
If that switch is not on, it is possible the city water will bypass the tank fill and directly pressurize the taps.
If there is no tap pressure, the maybe water is going to fill the tank instead because the fresh water fill switch is on with space left in the tank?

Hey Doug;
I've got a 95 Magna, so lets see.
Water compartment.
Lower left hand corner is the pump and solonoid compartment. Should be a water inlet coming out of it. This is for filling fresh water tank. And don't forget the water inlet switch on the overhead console. I believe you flip it up and it activates the relay to the solonoid.
Top of the water compartment.
I have a faucet with two handles hot/cold. Left hand side Center is a cap going to the fresh water tank. Right of center is a hose connector for flushing out the black water tank and far right is a 4 inch plastic screw cap for storing the drain hose.
I hope yours is set up like this?? Steve

Do you mean the pipe from the turbine to the CAC, or the pipe from the CAC to the intake manifold? I can not see anything on the CAC to intake manifold pipe, and I can see all around the pipe with a "mirror on a stick"
No evil intentions here, I am thinking of adding a boost pressure gauge, and was looking for a convenient location to install a dash gauge sensor, by sharing a bung. Also, I wanted to check all the engine sensors for proper operation, as I had a sudden and unexpected change in operating temperature accompanied by a noticable power loss on my last trip.

It's in the pipe thats goes from the output of the CAC to the intake manifold. I posted two pictures of the location in the photo section. Do you have diagnostics Key at rear vertical face of the transmission shift console?

For about $400 you can get the Siverleaf cable and software and get all the engine/transmission data (etc) you want on your laptop. Like turbo-boost pressure, intake manifold temp. horse power, torque, oil pressures/temps, MPG, current tranmission gear being used, etc, etc plus diagnostics data. All you do is, install the software and plug the cable into laptop and coach interface plug. A must have for high- tech want-a-be geeks like me. I won't leave home without it. Not sure what it would cost to install the Turbo gage, but silverleaf may be the easiest way to go. No, I am in not in anyway affiliated with silverleaf. I really appreciate you taking the time to photograph and post the pictures. Unfortunately my intake plumbing is routed very differently from yours. I do have a similar looking sensor on the bottom of the pipe coming from the CAC to the engine intake manifold, however I believe it is the inlet air temperature sensor, as it is wired to the fan control module rather than the ECM. I may just bite the bullet, take up the bed and engine cover, and add a new bung just behind the flex coupling at the intake manifold for my new gauge.
Fist thing I checked was diagnostics codes and none were present for engine or transmission.

OOPs I was wrong : The pictures that I posted are of the temp sender to the fan controller.
I did find the boost and temp sensors for the ECM, they are in the casting of the intake manfold. The engine head and manifold are all one casting. The sensor are shown on page E-14 of the Cummins ISC maintenance manual.

There should be at least 2 places to attach hoses to your coach (mine has 3). One is for the black tank cleaning system, which it sounds like is the one you used. The second one would be for drinking water, and will go either to the faucets, or the fresh water tank, depending on the setting of a valve on the panel. The third would be directly to the pump, for non pressurized water sources. This is usually used to fill the pipes with antifreeze but could perhaps be used to suck water out of a drum or other container.
By the way, be careful filling the water tank. My manual says to 'fill until water runs out of the overflow'. Well, I tried that and it never overflowwed. I finally caught it after it had lifted the gray and black water tanks a couple inches. Service said 'the overflow may be clogged'.

Thats' it! I did not look there, as I was thinking incorrectly that it was a CC installed part like the cooling fan sensors. The actual sensor locations appear to be somewhat different than the Cummins diagram on page E-14, as the boost sensor seems to be located farther toward the transmission end of the engine. When I get it all sorted out, I will post the pictures identifying each sensor.

Thanks for the input. Silverleaf or Cummins Techspec would certainly be the easiest route and I may do that just to have the diagnostics capability. The Cummins software and cable I think was about $100.
Having been a high-tech geekoid for 35 years or so, I would probably just build my own interface and display unit. However, the notion of having a laptop or another "box" on the dash just did not appeal to me as a primary instrument. My preference here is a good 'ole, simple, reliable analog gauge that I can monitor at a glance and not be yet another driving distraction.
The gauge is not expensive, about $60 for a mechanical one, and $200 for an electrical one. Electrical would be much easier to install, as one can use an existing "spare" wire to the dash. Mechanical would require running a plastic pressure line from the engine to the dash, a bit of a pain. If I opt for mechanical, I will probably add some "new" spare wires to accommodate a transmission oil temp gauge, perhaps a "fan running" light and whatever I might dream up later.

Many thanks to all who responded. And no, I'm not blond. The correct fitting is there where u said it would be on the lower left...even marked fresh water, but the tap is parallel to the side of the coach and had a fitting screwed into it. The fittnng had a 1/4" dia 1" long tube on it and so I hardly looked at it as I assumed it was for some other type of hook up. After your suggestions I looked closer, removed the fitting and saw the 'Fresh Water" label. Haven't had a chance to try it but am sure it will work just fine. I was, infact, hooked to the black water tank rinse system and its a good thing I shut it off when I did as I haven't yet acquired the adapters and hose to dump the tanks.

Doug, before hooking up to a water source, make sure you have a pressure regulator in the line somewhere. It hopefully is built in, but may not be. In my old trailer, I hooked up to a hose without one and blew my water pump pressure sensor and the hose to the toilet...
