Here's a heads up, folks,

From Toyo Tires, an advisory dated March 14, 2006:

"Effective immediately, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation recommends against the installation of any Toyo tire on any model motor home manufactured by National RV Holdings, Inc., including Country Coach and National RV motor homes."

The web link offers more details:

There is also a tread running on the topic on RV.NET.

My apologies if this is 'old' news ...

I may be confused but it says "All CCI Rv's" but only discussed Intrigue and Allure's. Does this really mean all CCI coaches have an issue or just the two models?

The problems have been reported on Intrigues and Allures. The theory is that CCI and Toyo had a 'falling out' over the number of problems CCI had which affected the tires, and the solutions were not up to Toyo's wishes. So they don't support usage of their tires on any CCI or related motorhome (to reduce their liability if anything goes wrong with the tires).

So Toyo has bailed, what is CCI doing for us?

They are putting other brand tires on the new units produced. As for the ones already out there, there is nothing wrong with Toyos and you should get full life out of them. When it comes time to replace them, it may be a bit of a problem, but at least it sounds like there are a few options as discussed in earlier posts.

Any 2003 - 2004 First Ave owners here that can give me input on their coach??? I am looking at an '03 ('04 floorplan) and am interested in positives and negatives of these.

Anything to look for??

Has anybody upgraded their 370 to a 400 ??

I sold my '00 Intrigue and may want to stay within the CC family.

thanx, Jim
