Verizon aircards use CDMA & digital spread spectrum. Verizon aircard security is better than most other connections.
Your security is more dependent of two other factors. One, MS Internet Explorer & Outlook are designed to not be secure. Switch to Firefox & Thunderbird for browsing & email. Or use some other non Microsoft programs. Enable security modes of your browser & email programs. Two, keep bots, virus, Macromedia & ActiveX our of your computer. Even Microsoft advises against use of ActiveX due to security problems.
Why? If your computer is infested & copies every thing you type to a computer you have never heard of, no security can be.
