This must be my weekend for malfunctions.I have the VMS200 set to start the gen when the batteries get to 11.9v and it has been fine until today. The batteries got to 11.7v and the gen was not on so I pushed the button and it did not start the gen. I had to start it from the remote switch in the brm.I looked in the CC manual, Xantrex manual, and Silverleaf manual to no avail. There isn't any info on on troubleshooting the auto gen start feature.I tried to call CC tech support number and it did not answer today.
Has anyone had experience with this kind of problem? I have made certain that I used the same switch for turning the gen off that I used to turn it on, and I checked the breaker on the genset.
Thank you all, Macke "03 Magna #6277 in Ocean Shores, WA

Macke, You've probably already checked this, bet just in case----I couldn't get my automatic gen start to work and was told by a Tech at Buddy Gregg ( Dallas ) I needed a new inverter. Turned out to be just a programming problem. Is internal clock set properlly in the Trace Panel, and is the silent time set to begin at midnight and end at midnight? As soon as I set these properly, my generator ran just fine no matter where I turned it on.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,-Actually,I can't thank you enough.I
read your post and went right over to the panel and did as you said.
Pushed the knob on the silverleaf and the genset started right up. You saved me a lot of time and trouble Charlie.I guess now the automatic function will also be back to normal. It is great to have people on this group that know from experience and share their knowledge with those of us who encounter first time problems.
