Yes, there are a lot of Inspire owners who seem to see the same temp indication.
Our coach runs, like yours, and will cool to 190 in stopped traffic. It never has shown a lite, even in the mountains after traveling the West last summer. Runs, on the highway showing 210. I feel this is a correct temp since I have changed the sending unit / gage after bench testing and verifying the pair. There has been, a few weeks back, some discussion also about trans temps running high compared to other 3000 MH Allisons. This is still an issue as far as I'm concerned. Please reference message 22167 that I have wrote about Allison temps, and this will also address my thought's on the engine temp issue.

Thanks for the reply and the excellent information, we were just not used to having the temp be that high and did not want to do any damage to a new engine.
