Although we've never bought a coach from them (we're from Oregon) I've heard nothing but the best about Holland.

Purchased a used 2005 Inspire from Austin at Holland. Could not ask for more from the sales staff and delivery personnel. Would look to them to buy again.

It is like most things, there are good and bad. we did not have a good experience on many levels including service once we purchased.
Just make sure you double check and particular important issues or needs as I have not found any RV sales people to be particularly knowledgable as they should be.

We had a negative experience. Service was OK when we had it, but they only made time when they thought we were going to buy...once we didn't go through with a deal, then they don't seem to have time for us. Don't expect much off the sticker with them. We had a verbal agreement which all of a sudden was upped by 50k when the final deal was ready to be made...no go. I don't like bait and switch.

We purchased our 2003 Intrigue from Austin Boes at Holland Motor Home in San Diego. It was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a motor vehicle. Austin and the rest of the staff at Holland are great to work with. I recomend them to anyone that asks. You can't go wrong if deal with Austin.

That is what they say if you go to Holland. Purchase units have priority over non. As least they are up front about it. They were expandiing when i was there last summer, so maybe they can handle more units now.
Thank you,

We purchased our 2002 Intrigue from Holland and Austin Boes, couldn't agree more on the satisfaction we experienced in the transaction. Mr. Boes represents exactly what honesty, integrity, and service are supposed to be.

Re: Holland
To the group:
I live in a suburb of San Diego, and have been familiar with the Holland Agency for a number of years. In fact, prior to moving to their present location, Holland's SAN facility was located less than 10 minutes away. Over the years, I've shopped them when in the market for 3 different coaches.
Comensurate with their "FLASH" I have, with out exception, found them to be substantially higher than the prevailing market, and with an attitudinal approach suggesting "If you're not in the market for a BLUEBIRD, we really can't be bothered". It's almost redundant to say, I've never bought anything from them.
In Dec. 04, CC notified me of yet another "mistake" in the sizing of the front tires on my Intrigue: suggesting that given my location, I might have this "recall" attended to by their SAN "authorized dealer" Holland Motors. I then called Holland and spoke to their service mgr. who did not know of the problem or the recall.
Having reassured my self that Holland was, as of old; I deleted them from ADDRESSES.
All best rog

Ken,
We tried to purchase our 04' CC Intrigue (Evening Star) from Holland. They did not have one in stock and told us they would call us back after they looked into availability. They took some information then promptly called us back a couple days later saying they could not, or would not obtain it for us then bad mouthed CC. Asked about financing & his reply was "when you get some money together give us a call." What an insult!!! Only wish I could remember his name.
Purchased our current coach 04' Intrigue 37' from Guaranty in Junction City 30 days later.

Last November, we bought a pre-owned 2004 Allure Newport through Austen at Holland in San Diego. Because of the coach's unknown history (to us), we purchased an extended warranty policy (against recommendations). We have been grateful for both.
Holland's service is overbooked, but accommodating. It can be difficult to get your service rep to call you back and often has required more than one try. And as with most service providers these days, we have had recurring problems with some fixes. The difference is that Holland's service people have kept trying.
Austen has been asked to approve certain repairs that service did not want to absorb, and he has. Service has been flexible with our schedule and has provided electricity for overnight(s) while repairs/services are being worked into their schedule. We have, however, learned to schedule service for when we can be flexible as to how long repairs might take....
Our experience with Austen and the Holland Service (Matt) has been pretty good, especially considering we couldn't pop for a new custom-built Affinity.
