Title: 06 allure 40' turning radius

I'd appreciate it if any 06 Allure 40' owners could let me know how tightly this rig can turn (of course, assuming the tag has been dumped of air).

It's a unit I really want to get but we have some tight spots on our property (which can't be changed) and are at least a few hours from the nearest dealer so don't want to go on a lot of trips with the dealer with different units.

If the 40' doesn't end up working out will probably get the 37'.

Thanks,

Hi Jake, I don't think any of us can give you a definitive answer that would mean anything as we do not know your property. No doubt someone with a forty foot '06 can turn their rig as tight as it will go on a wet surface and measure the diameter of the tire marks but then you also have to allow for the over hang front and rear and of course the side mirrors.

There is no question that the forty foot is very maneuverable but as I indicate, without seeing you property people will only be guessing.

Maybe your best bet is to find someone close by that has a forty foot '06 and invite them to bring their rig over and stay for dinner!

 Where are you?

We have an 05 Intrigue 40' (with tag) and can back it into spaces easier then our older 36' SOB.

The wheel base makes for real tight turns, when backing up. You just pivot on the back tires.

To test it in real conditions is the best and only way to be satisfied.

Thanks -- that was the kind of info I was looking for.

Don't know what your property is like but I have a 42' Allure and it does not seem to be any more difficult to get into tight spots than our previous 36' SOB.
