We want to use bio diesel in our 03 Magna, but we're wandering about the Hurricane diesel burner. Does anyone have any information or advise in that area?

According to the engine people at the East Coast Reunion, they recommend NOT using Biodiesel in the Cummins and ( I think) Cats as they don't think the lubricity in the fuel is sufficient.

Goto http://www.hydro-hot.com (http://www.hydro-hot.com) and get their service number. You can also download all pertinent manuals, including installation and operator. Very nice of them to post this stuff.
I called about another problem (no heat in front zone) and they called back pretty quickly. Missed their call back, but they tried.
If you can connect, I am sure they will answer your question straight away. They might have an FAQ on the site also.

Ooops ... you said Hurricane in your post. That's a different animal than Hydro-Hot isn't it ... ???
That was not much help ... but Hydro-Hot does have a cool site.

CAT's official stance is that Biodiesel is ok, i.e will not void the warranty, for engines if the fuel is less than 30% Biodiesel and meets ASTM D6751 specification. See CAT document SEBU6250-14.
That said, you also have to consider your generator.
