04 Inspire. When we are setting up, jacks go down and rig levels up (auto or manual). Then as we attempt to extend rooms, jacks retract. It doesn't matter what the power source is -- CC recommends engine running at high idle. We've tried that, shore power connected to 50 amp and generator running -- result still the same, up come the jacks when any roomslide switct is touched. Can't find any connection between the 2 systems. Have checked chassis ground and it's good. We have been deploying rooms and then leveling up but are concerned that we may wrack frame and cause other more serious problems. Any suggestions??

Sounds like a problem with the hydraulic leveling system or a wiring problem. My Inspire allows me to lower the jacks in the auto or manual mode and then extend the slide rooms. However, I always turn the leveling system off before extending the slides. I always have the engine running while while using either system. I would suggest isolating the systems and operate them independently. Level the coach and then pull the fuse for the leveling system. Then extend the slide rooms. This proceedure would indicate if the problem is at the leveling control system on the dash or a wiring problem at the hydraulic dump valve. By some means 12vdc is being applied to either the retract all jacks contactor or directly to the dump valve located in the last driver side bay on the hydraulic sump. I would sure like to know the solution to this problem. You might also give power gear a call, they might have some experience with this problem. I don't know who you talked with at CC, but I would recommend asking for Jim Craig.
Hope this helps,
